The
KNV-PVS14-CAG (Commercial
Auto-Gated) from L-3 Electro Optical Systems
is the world‘s most sought after Gen 3 monocular period. Used
currently by the U.S. Armed Forces elite SWAT and Special Ops
Units, this monocular includes an IR illuminator, fully
adjustable headgear and multi-coated optics.
Automatic
Brightness Control and Bright Source Protection are standard.
Manual gain control allows the user to increase or decrease
image tube brightness for best possible image contrast. The most
versatile Night Vision System on the market, the
KNV-PVS14-CAG can be
used hands-free, Weapons mounted or attached to a camera/camcorder for nighttime photography.
Optional accessories
include a military helmet mount, illuminated compass, high
magnification lenses and weapon‘s mount. The
KNV-PVS14 is available
in many configurations ranging from High End MILSPEC to low-cost
commercial systems. The PVS-14 is the finest monocular type available on
the market today.
The
KNV-PVS14-CAG
is a hand-held pocket scope
or can be head-mounted using either left or right eye. Optional
Accessories allow the monocular to be Helmet-Mounted, Camera or
Camcorder Mounted or even Weapon Mounted.
When used with an Aimpoint Red Dot or an
EOTech
Holographic Sight, you increase aiming accuracy. Either mount the
monocular directly behind the Red Dot Sight or Head mount for
continual visual enhancement and approach the sight as necessary.
Laser Aiming Systems offer the greatest sighting accuracy by showing
up as a straight white line to the target.
This versatile Night Vision
System enables walking, driving, weapon firing, short-range
surveillance and map reading in both moonlight or starlight
conditions. IR illuminators and
IR Spotlights greatly increase your
detection and recognition ranges.

By
using head straps, each unit allows for vertical and fore-and-aft
adjustments. For clear images, the objective lens and eyepiece
(Diopter) focus for various levels of vision enhancement.
Automatic Brightness Control and Bright
Source Protection are standard.
The device is also equipped with an infrared
light-emitting source and the variable gain control allows the user
to increase or decrease image brightness for best possible contrast.
Higher magnification lenses (3X or 5X Afocal) can be attached for
even greater range. This device is available with many tube
classifications and configurations.
