LASER - Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation

KERIF Night Vision, LLC offers a wide array of LASER's, utilized by Military, Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement agency operations. Lasers can be used as an Aimer when bore-sighted to a specific weapon or as a Pointer/Illuminator to enhance a target’s signature when using certain Night Vision Devices.
     A LASER is a device that creates a narrow, intense beam of coherent light, can be pulsed or continuous, and can operate in the infrared, visible and ultraviolet spectrum. Lasers in the infrared spectrum are invisible to the naked eye but are visible using certain Night Vision Devices.
     Classification of laser emissions is determined by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a part of laser product regulation to restrict use to appropriate and safe operation.
Class I   - Emissions cannot emit laser radiation at known hazard levels.
Class IIIa Intermediate-power Emitters (1-5 mW) which are hazardous for intra-beam viewing
Class IIIb Emission is considered an acute hazard to the skin and eyes from direct radiation.
 

     The rugged and compact ITAL-Classic & OTAL-Classic LASER's are used by Military and Law Enforcement agencies worldwide. The ITAL-Classic is designed to be mounted on Flat Top rifles with a cropped front sight. The OTAL-Classic is designed to be mounted behind the front sight on M-4 style rifles and the LASER is offset to project around the front sight.

The ITAL-A & OTAL-A LASER's are rugged, compact and manufactured with the latest cutting-edge technology. The A-series includes an adjustable focus IR laser which allows the operator to adjust the size of the laser beam. When focused, the laser provides a continuous beam along the weapon's line of fire for precise aiming. When defocused, the beam spreads to provide improved illumination and situational awareness.
