with Firefighting, Law Enforcement and Military Tactics in mind, the
ReconIR is an easy to use, practical and functional Thermal Imager.
Taking proven Raytheon®
Technologies and internally shock-mounting them within a Heat
Mil-Hardened Shock Resistant Case, the ReconIR offers Firefighters
Reliable & True See-in-the-Dark Images, as well as the ability to detect
thermal signatures in any light condition.
Heavy rain, fog and other obscurants dramatically
degrade photonic vision, but the strong and sturdy ReconIR provides
usable thermal imagery under almost every natural and man-made
obscurant. The imager detects these temperature differences and displays
them in its back-lit LCD viewer (viewable at arms length). The unit is ready to operate in
approximately 5 seconds.
Two (2)
Rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) Batteries or (8) AA Batteries
can be easily accessed and changed. Comes with 110 VAC Battery Charger
and 12 VDC adapters
