Phoenix Jr. IR Intruder Beacon w/Trip Switch    
A trip switch activated, covert intrusion detection signaling beacon PHOENIX JR. INTRUDER BEACON is used in conjunction with Night Vision devices (NVD) to detect and signal night movement along trails, roads and entry points. Using a GPS receiver for precise reference, several Phoenix Jr. Intruder Beacons may be accurately implanted for preplanned targeting. The Intruder Beacon flashes at a rate four times faster than the Phoenix Jr. thus differentiating it from the standard combat identification signal.

SETTING UP A NIGHT PERIMETER may include the implanting of tripwire activated markers. The Phoenix Jr. Intruder Beacon offers the perfect solution. Combat teams equipped with a GPS receiver can quickly implant and accurately document the location of the Intruder network. At night, one NVD equipped sentry can easily watch over the network. Once set up, the intruder systems do not drain any power from the battery until activated by the trip wire, maximizing the field longevity of the network. When a beacon is tripped the intruder is typically not aware of his problem until the first mortar round lands on the beacon’s position.

Rapid Flash Rate
THE PHOENIX JR. INFRARED INTRUDER BEACON is used in conjunction with Night Vision devices (NVD) to detect and signal night movement along trails, roads and entry points. The beacon’s outside finish is red, differentiating it from the more common Phoenix Junior, combat identification beacon, and has a flash rate that is four times faster that Phoenix Jr.
